I've spent 15-20 years chasing great sample libraries and it's only this year that I've found ones that I enjoy playing as much as Pianoteq. I'd say get the standard edition as soon as you can, and if you find yourself longing for a different sort of sound, poke around in the world of samples later on. You could easily be put off playing/practicing by getting a sample library that you just don't get on with or that you don't feel 'connected to' when you play. That's unlikely to happen with Pianoteq, especially if you know you already like the sound.
